Nucala 100 mg Injection contains mepolizumab 100 mg, a humanized monoclonal antibody and interleukin-5 (IL-5) antagonist. It works by blocking IL-5 activity, thereby reducing the production and survival of eosinophils involved in certain inflammatory conditions.
It is primarily used as an add-on maintenance treatment for severe eosinophilic asthma.
